Hi! I’m Yvonne. Educator, UDL focused course designer, mentor, maker. I connect people with solutions.

I have two master degrees, one in Secondary Education and one in Human Resource Development. My flexible and positive mindset cultivates a growth based relationship with my collaborators. I am a professional mentor to educators and administrators. My curious and open-minded nature has kept me in the field of learning and development for over 20 years. I’m currently working as an Instructor leading live sessions as well as designing, developing, and implementing asynchronous courses and micro learning. In my free time, you might find me walking and listening to a personal finance podcast. You’ll also find me sharing recipes and writing about easy ways to cook whole foods on half the money of eating out (check out my website). As yoga practioner, I have also been crafting workplace mindful and yoga sequences (find these on my Youtube channel and website) and learning more about personal finance (read my blog).

I love teaching foods and nutrition, personal finance, and yoga and mindfulness, and bring practical skills and a warm, approachable style to my work. As a certified yoga teacher and former homeschool mom, I’m passionate about helping others create balance and connection in their lives. I especially adore the times I’ve spent cooking and baking with my kids when they were little and sharing the nourishing joy of whole foods.  I design and create books to support others in their journey of growth, meeting you exactly where you are and inspiring you to take the next step.

“Not all who wander are lost” - j.r.r. tolkien

I like this quote because I’m curious, like change and movement, and encourage others to explore their own wonderings and wanderings. When I’m not working on a project using Backwards Design or something else nifty, you will find me hiking, cycling, practicing yoga, or cooking up my next adventure.
