Yoga Principle #6 Surrender

This positive duty for healthy living is also called Ishvara-pranidhana. This refers to surrendering to a higher, divine force or power. You can also think of this as believing in something bigger than yourself.

In Action: Your schedule keeps changing and at first you get flustered and irritated. Instead of holding onto how the day ‘should’ be going, you choose to be flexible and open to life as it unfolds. You consider that maybe you’re not really in control after all and to trust in a divine force’s influence.

Do you wish you could add a little yoga practice to your day but don’t have time to run to a studio or class? Try my 15 minute FREE morning yoga class! Learn more about it and register at my site Yoga @ Home! You can also check out my other offerings to help you fit more movement into your day.
